Join AACE SF on 4/28/20 at 6 PM PST for an amazing presentation from our speaker, John Blodgett. John, a manager at Pacific Gas & Electric Company for over 14 years, is currently leading over 60 project managers, project controls analysts, and field engineers in executing a $300M annual portfolio including overhead work and underground civil projects.

John will talk about how project leadership uses P6 data and the importance of integrated reporting at PG&E.

Integrated Reporting is used to combine project data from various different sources, such as a project scheduling tool, an enterprise financial system, or other databases. Rather than integrate the systems themselves and using the limited reporting capabilities these systems offer, the data from these systems can be harvested at regular intervals, into a single data warehouse. This could be a SQL, Access, or Oracle database. Data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Python, or Excel charts, can be used to pinpoint problem areas. This is especially useful in a large capital program, where there may be hundreds or thousands of projects, and project leadership needs quick access to accurate information.
